We’ll be supporting the potential of 1,000 disadvantaged teenagers by 2025. By 2032, we aim to support 10,000.
Our mission is to partner with non-profit organizations to meet the needs of teenagers from low-income families and the Foster Care system. myTOD’s plan involves providing support and tools for the future – so they’re equipped not just for securing a job, but for life. We’ll do this in the form of financial and career support, internship opportunities, training exposure, and professional skills development. Our Talent Partners will be volunteering their time for 40 hours each year to drive this mission forward.
We partner with the Samueli Academy, which was founded to tackle low graduation rates among foster care teens in Orange County.
We support their objectives by offering:
- Help with professional portfolios
- Workshops for interview preparation
- Internship opportunities
- Advocacy for the academy
Our connections in the HR industry assist Samueli Academy students with their professional portfolios.
myTOD and Second Harvest pack 10,000 pounds of food to be distributed to low income California families.
Our first intern from the Samueli Academy will work closely with our colleagues to learn our industry!
myTOD and Samueli Academy deployed a training workshop to teach their students interview preparation tips.
myTOD pays the salary of an Art teacher to provide classes for 35 students at the Yayasan Widya Guna school in Bali, Indonesia.
